The Power of AI at Osan Middle High School
OSAN – What does sleep deprivation look like?
After learning about how sleep and sleep deprivation affect their bodies, sixth grade students in Ms. Dawn Brown’s health class at Osan Middle High School created alter-ego versions of themselves using AI in Adobe Express. Their alter ego depictions showcased how they look when they don’t get enough sleep.
Ms. Brown partnered with OMHS Educational Technologist Dr. Jennifer Luckett on the lesson, integrating the technology into the classroom. Students were engaged and enjoyed working on the project and had an opportunity to peer teach another class on how to create alter egos using the cloud-based resource.
The lesson is a great example of how ETs and teachers co-teach and collaborate to actively engage our students.
