Osan Middle High School (OMHS) successfully hosted its inaugural “Spring into the Future: College & Career Fair,” a base-wide event aimed at empowering students and families with resources for post-secondary planning.

The fair featured a vast array of participants, including colleges, universities, career-focused organizations, and representatives from local scholarship programs. Students and parents had the opportunity to engage directly with these professionals, gaining valuable insights into academic pathways, career options, and financial aid opportunities.

Ms. Sheri Moore, school counselor at OMHS, expressed deep gratitude for the overwhelming support from the community.

“It was truly inspiring to see alumni, educators, and professionals come together to invest in our students’ futures,” Moore said. “This kind of collaboration is exactly what our students need and deserve.”

Alumni participants shared their enthusiasm about reconnecting with the school and contributing to the event by sharing their personal experiences and career journeys. Their involvement added a meaningful layer of mentorship and encouragement for current students.

OMHS plans to build on the success of this year’s fair, with hopes of making it an annual tradition. As the academic year progresses, the school will continue to support students through platforms like Schoolinks, a career readiness tool accessible via Classlink, helping students align their goals with real-world opportunities.

The “Spring into the Future: College & Career Fair” was not only a success – it was a celebration of community, opportunity, and student potential.
