No School for Students: Chuseok/PD Learning

There will be no school for students on Friday, September 25.

This scheduled student recess serves a dual purpose for our campus community here at Osan Air Base. First, it honors Chuseok, the traditional Korean autumn harvest festival, giving our military-connected families a wonderful opportunity to experience local cultural traditions and travel during the holiday weekend. Second, our campus will be utilizing this time for essential Teacher Professional Development (PD).

While students enjoy an extended three-day weekend, OMHS faculty and staff will be hard at work on campus. Our educators will spend the day collaborating in instructional workshops, evaluating early-semester student performance data, and aligning learning strategies to ensure our Cougars continue to thrive.
